Joanna started her hospice journey back in 2008 as a hospice nurse, inspired by a passion for caring and making a difference in people’s lives. Now, with nearly two decades in hospice care and over 14 years as an Executive Leader, Joanna believes that putting people first is the key to building an exceptional care experience. At Highland Hospice, Joanna is all about creating a positive, supportive culture where team members feel valued and encouraged to grow—because when the team feels good, they’re able to provide the best care for patients and families.

Outside of work, Joanna enjoys spending time outdoors, watching football, and relaxing with her husband and their husky. Hospice work isn’t just a job for Joanna; it’s a calling and a commitment to helping people at their most vulnerable moments, and she’s proud to lead a team that shares this dedication every day.
